Getting Started

What is Canvas TV Artwork?
Canvas TV Artwork is a free YouTube channel dedicated to 2-hour 4K classical art screensavers presented in baroque gold frames. Every video is silent, designed to display on Samsung Frame TV, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, or any smart display as ambient art.
Is Canvas TV Artwork free?
Yes, completely free. Every video is available on YouTube at no cost. No subscription or account is required to watch.
What devices can I use Canvas TV Artwork on?
Any device with access to YouTube: Samsung Frame TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google TV / Chromecast, LG smart TV, Vizio SmartCast, Hisense, TCL, and any smartphone, tablet, or computer. See our device setup guides at /guides for platform-specific instructions.
How long are the videos?
All Canvas TV Artwork videos are exactly 2 hours long — the ideal length for ambient display during an evening at home without interruption.

Samsung Frame TV

Can I use YouTube videos with Samsung Frame TV Art Mode?
YouTube videos play through the YouTube app on your Frame TV but are not natively integrated with Art Mode. You play them as you would any YouTube video — fullscreen, silenced, 2 hours long. Art Mode uses Samsung's built-in Art Store content; YouTube provides a free, richer alternative.
How do I set up Art Mode on Samsung Frame TV?
Press Home → navigate to the Art icon in Smart Hub → select Art Mode. In Settings, configure your activation delay, brightness sensor, and optional motion sensor. See our full Samsung Frame TV guide at /samsung-frame-tv-art-guide for complete step-by-step instructions.
Does Canvas TV Artwork work on Samsung Frame TV?
Yes. Open YouTube on your Frame TV, search Canvas TV Artwork, subscribe, and play any video fullscreen. The 2-hour silent format is specifically designed for this use case.
What size Frame TV works best for art?
The 55-inch and 65-inch models offer the best balance of visual presence and room proportion. The 85-inch is stunning in larger spaces. All sizes support 4K and display Canvas TV Artwork at full native resolution.

Content & Art

What style of art do you feature?
Classical oil painting in the tradition of the Dutch Golden Age, Flemish masters, Victorian illustration, and the Norman Rockwell era of American illustration. Warm palettes, rich interiors, botanical still lifes, and the Old Money aesthetic. No modern digital art, no cool-toned abstract work.
How often do you upload new videos?
New videos are uploaded regularly — multiple times per week. Subscribe on YouTube and enable notifications to see new collections as they are published.
Do you have Christmas and holiday art?
Yes. Christmas and winter holiday content is the channel's most popular category. Fireplace interiors, candlelit mantels, and cozy holiday scenes are available year-round in the Christmas Fireplace collection at /collections/christmas-fireplace.
Is the art original or classical?
Both. Canvas TV Artwork features a curated mix of AI-generated original artwork in classical styles (approximately 60–70%) and traditional classical masterworks in the public domain (approximately 30–40%). All content is presented in baroque gold frames and produced in 4K.

Technical

What resolution are the videos?
All videos are produced in 4K UHD (3840×2160). Select the highest quality setting in YouTube (gear icon → Quality → 2160p) for the full 4K experience.
Do the videos have sound?
No. All Canvas TV Artwork videos are completely silent — by design. They are ambient display content, not background music. You can play your own music or podcast alongside them.
What internet speed do I need for 4K?
YouTube recommends at least 20 Mbps for stable 4K playback. A wired ethernet connection to your TV provides the most consistent experience, though Wi-Fi is sufficient on most home networks.
Can I download the videos?
The videos are available to stream free on YouTube. YouTube Premium subscribers can download videos for offline viewing through the YouTube app.
